Child Safety Standards
1. Zero tolerance
Yunoh is for adults. Nobody under 18 may use it, appear on it, or be present in a Session, in any capacity.
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material and for any sexualisation of a minor. This is not a policy we balance against anything else. There is no threshold to cross, no first warning, no appeal, and no commercial relationship we value more than a child's safety. Every case ends in immediate removal, preserved evidence and, where required, a report to the authorities.
If you are under 18, please leave. You are not in trouble with us, but you cannot be here.
2. What is prohibited
Absolutely prohibited, anywhere on Yunoh, in words, images, staging or behaviour alike:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any image, video, live depiction, drawing, animation or computer- or AI-generated depiction of a minor in a sexual context. Producing, requesting, sharing, linking to, describing or attempting to obtain it are treated identically.
- Child sexual exploitation and abuse of any kind, including procuring or trafficking a minor.
- Sexualisation of a minor — sexual comments about, sexual interest in, or sexual role-play involving a minor or a person presented as one, in text or image. Age-play framed as fantasy between adults is covered, as is staging an adult to appear to be a minor.
- Grooming or solicitation of a minor — any attempt to develop contact with, gain the trust of, obtain images from, or arrange to meet a person under 18.
- A minor participating in a Session, as a Member, as an Earner, or in place of an account holder.
- A minor appearing in frame or being audible during a Session, in any capacity, background included.
- Assisting a minor to access Yunoh — sharing an account, verifying on their behalf, or bypassing age assurance.
- Any material sexualising a person who appears to be a minor, whatever their actual age or documentation.
Point 8 is deliberate. We act on appearance and on reasonable suspicion. We do not wait for proof of age before ending a Session, and we do not resolve doubt in favour of access.
3. How minors are kept off the Platform
Age assurance is mandatory and it comes before the camera. An Earner must clear it before she appears on camera at all — facial age estimation against a deliberately conservative buffer, a liveness check, and identity-document fallback where the estimate does not clear. Members confirm their age at registration, and where a Member buys Coins a successful card authorisation adds a supporting adult signal — corroboration, not verification, and many Members never buy at all; Guests self-declare only, and we state that gap plainly. The gate, the buffer and the vendor are set out in Age Assurance and Online Safety. Age assurance is separate from the financial identity checks an Earner completes in order to withdraw, and is never optional, deferred or waived.
We re-verify where a User is reported as looking under age, where a classifier or moderator raises an apparent-minor signal, or where an account looks to have changed hands, and the account is restricted meanwhile. Suspicion is enough; we do not require proof to pause an account.
4. No minor in frame — including your own child
A minor must never appear in frame, be audible, or be present in the room during a Session. Every User, every Session, no exceptions, including an Earner's own child. Take Sessions in a room where children are not present, and end the Session if a child comes in — doing so is never held against you. A minor briefly and innocently in frame, promptly removed, is a safety intervention and a warning; a minor deliberately placed or kept in frame, or referred to in any sexual way, is an immediate permanent removal under section 2.
5. Detection
An automated minor-detection classifier runs on every live Session, in real time. Detection is transient: frames are analysed in flight and no recording of the Session is created. Where a threshold is crossed, a limited artefact — a flagged still, a classifier score, a timestamped event — is preserved.
An apparent-minor detection above the review threshold ends the Session automatically and immediately, freezes both accounts and raises a child-safety escalation. It does not wait in a queue or for human confirmation.
Every image sent in a Message is scanned before delivery. An image failing that scan is blocked, never reaches the recipient, is preserved as evidence and suspends the sending account. Transcribed Session audio is screened for grooming language and references indicating that someone present is under 18.
Apparent-minor thresholds are set more conservatively than any other category, and we do not tune them down to reduce interruptions. Behavioural signals also trigger review in their own right — a school setting or uniform in view, references to school or curfews, a stated or implied age under 18, or repeated reports that someone looks young.
6. What happens when a signal arises
Where any signal indicates a minor is involved, this runs at once, without waiting for confirmation, at any hour of any day.
- The Session is terminated immediately — not paused, not monitored, not continued — and every account involved is suspended, unable to start a Session, buy Coins, withdraw or delete its data.
- Evidence is preserved under legal hold: artefacts, transcript fragments, account, device and payment records, and the report. No erasure request removes it while the hold stands.
- We do not tip off. The account holder is not told the substance of the suspicion, the source of a report, or that a referral may be made. Tipping off can destroy evidence and endanger a child.
- The case is escalated at once to our Head of Trust & Safety, contactable at childsafety@yunoh.com, who owns the reporting decision and contact with the authorities. It does not wait for a shift change or a business day.
- The case is reported where it involves suspected CSAM, sexual exploitation of a minor or grooming. Reporting is not discretionary where a legal obligation applies, and we report on reasonable suspicion even where it is not.
- The account is permanently closed and, so far as we are able, blocked from re-registering. Any Wallet balance is frozen and earnings connected to the conduct are withheld.
- The child comes first — where a minor is identifiable and at risk we refer to the authorities and, where appropriate, a child-protection helpline, ahead of anything else.
There is no appeal. Where an account is removed under section 2 the decision is final, and the appeal route in the Community Guidelines and the Complaints and Content Removal Policy does not apply. A genuine adult wrongly caught by an apparent-minor classifier is in a different position — that is an age-assurance outcome, resolved by re-verification under Age Assurance and Online Safety. Nothing here removes your right to complain to a supervisory authority or seek a remedy from a court.
7. Preservation, safe handling and the authorities
Ordinary moderation records are deleted on the schedule in the Privacy Policy. Child-safety material is preserved for as long as the law, a competent authority or a live investigation requires; held in a segregated, restricted store open only to the responsible person and a small named group, with every access logged; and excluded from ordinary erasure and account-deletion flows. A law-enforcement preservation request is applied at once.
Suspected CSAM is not viewed, copied, downloaded, forwarded or retained beyond what is strictly necessary to make the report. Where the law requires it to be handled only by the authorities, it is preserved in place and access restricted rather than reviewed internally — so that our own people do not commit an offence doing their job.
We cooperate fully and promptly with law enforcement and child-protection bodies. We respond to valid legal process, act on emergency requests without waiting for formal process where a child is at imminent risk, and refer cases proactively on reasonable suspicion, whether or not anyone has asked us to. We do not notify a User where notification is prohibited, would prejudice an investigation, or would put a child at risk.
8. Reporting a concern
Anyone can report a child-safety concern, whether or not they use Yunoh. Users can report from inside a Session or from Session history; anyone else can email support@yunoh.com, marked urgent. Child-safety reports go to the front of the queue and are triaged immediately, at any hour.
If you suspect the person you are speaking to is under 18, end the Session and report it. Do not investigate, ask for proof, continue in order to gather evidence, or warn the person. Report it and leave. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then tell us.
If something concerns you but you are not certain, report it anyway. A good-faith report is never held against you.
9. Voluntary measures: RTA and ASACP
Neither measure below is required of Yunoh by law, or by the content the Platform carries. We adopt them anyway, as child-protection measures over and above what is asked of us.
RTA — Restricted To Adults, served site-wide. Yunoh serves the RTA meta label on every page of yunoh.com — not an entry page alone, so a filter reaches the same conclusion wherever a link lands. RTA is a free, open labelling standard that announces, in a form software can read, that this is an adults-only service; parental-control and filtering products on a home computer, a school network or a child's device block the site on the strength of it.
ASACP membership. Yunoh is applying for membership of the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection, which runs a hotline for suspected child sexual abuse material and underage participation and maintains the RTA standard, giving us a reporting relationship in place before a first incident.
Neither is age assurance, and neither substitutes for any control in these Standards. RTA verifies nobody; it works on the child's side of the connection, only where filtering software is installed and running.
10. Responsibility, training and review
Designated responsible person. A single senior individual — our Head of Trust & Safety, contactable at childsafety@yunoh.com — holds accountability for child safety at Yunoh, owns the escalation and reporting decision, and is the point of contact for the authorities. A named deputy provides cover, so escalation is always reachable.
Training and wellbeing. Everyone with access to user content or accounts is trained before live work on indicators that a User may be under 18, grooming patterns, the protocol in section 6 including the no-tip-off rule, safe handling of suspected CSAM, and the escalation route at any hour. Anyone exposed to child-safety material is offered confidential psychological support at the Company's cost.
Review. These Standards are reviewed at least annually with legal input, and immediately after any child-safety incident, any change to the reporting pathway or a relevant law, or any change to the age-assurance vendor or threshold.
